Amelia Park Racing and Breeding has announced that Amelia’s Jewel has been retired. The mare finished fifth in the Queen of the Turf Stakes at Randwick on Saturday. She won 10 stakes races in her career and a Group 1 race.

Trainer Bjorn Baker says that his veteran galloper Arapaho has what it takes to win the Group 1 Tancred Stakes at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on Saturday. The eight-year-old gelding previously won the $1.5 million race back in 2023.
