Amelia Park Racing and Breeding has announced that Amelia’s Jewel has been retired. The mare finished fifth in the Queen of the Turf Stakes at Randwick on Saturday. She won 10 stakes races in her career and a Group 1 race.

After winning the Group 1 Tancred Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday, Dubai Honour and William Haggas are eyeing a Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes win for the seven-year-old gelding. Dubai Honour has not ever lost a Group 1 race in Australia.

Promising filly Pleasure Queen pulled off a dominant win at Randwick on Wednesday. Co-trainer Sterling Alexiou now says he plans to enter his horse in stakes races to close out the season. Next month’s Group 2 Percy Sykes Stakes is the most likely race for Pleasure Queen.

Following his disappointing second-to-last place run in the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes in his last start, trainer Enver Jusufovic is hoping to see a much better display from his star galloper Pinstriped in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes at Randwick this Saturday.

Fangirl upset the odds at Randwick on Saturday in the Apollo Stakes. The six-year-old mare outclassed both Cox Plate winner Via Sistina and King Charles III Stakes winner Ceolwulf. FanGirl now has a 30-10-5-5 career record and is a proven champion according to her trainer.

Rivellino won the 2025 Inglis Millennium at Randwick on Saturday. The Kris Lees-trained colt entered the race as one of the top three favourites. He has now won both of his competitive starts and could be a contender for bigger races this season.

After starting her career with a runner-up and first place finish at Geelong and Flemington, Cavalry Girl is set to race in the Inglis Millennium at Randwick next week. The Tom Dabernig-trained filly is one of the top three favourites.

Paul Messara’s mare Clear Thinking is still perfect after winning the Highway Handicap at Randwick on Saturday. The daughter of Dubawi is set to run in the Group 3 Triscay Stakes next. The Country Championships is also an option.

Godolphin Racing are considering what’s next for Polyglot after his impressive win in the Precise Air Benchmark 72 at Rosehill. The James Cummings-trained gelding could be ready to make the next step and run in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes at Randwick next month.

Bjorn Baker’s Robusto came away with a major upset victory this weekend after winning the Group 2 The Ingham at Randwick on Saturday. The betting sites gave the five-year-old just $26 chances of winning the $2 million race.
