Looks well placed in the 4 Barrier to capitalise on the race setup. On board Honor Galore will be Daniel Stackhouse, one of my favourite jockeys to bet on. From the C I Brown Stable, you can expect a quality horse. Goes okay over this trip, placing in 75% of 4 starts, with 2 wins.

Hot Pursuit odds may change, but for now, I like its chances of running a place or getting the win. Finished outside the top four, but had some encouraging moments in the race. Last start performance, Hot Pursuit placed 8th over 1400m at Sandown-Hillside. Carried 53kg, guided by Luke Cartwright, and started at $16.00. Hasn’t won in these conditions yet, but I'm not too worried about that. A great combination of experience and skill, Thomas Stockdale is more than capable of guiding Hot Pursuit to a top finish. Trainer Thomas Nikolic has carefully prepared Hot Pursuit for this event, and I believe she will give a strong account of itself. Winless over 1200m so far, but could improve under the conditions. Proven performer at this venue, recording 2 wins and 3 placings from 3 starts.
