Oak Hill is in decent enough form to trouble this field at Echuca. Finished beyond the top four but showed enough to warrant another look. Last start, Oak Hill finished in the placings over 1000m at Flemington on 29/03/2025. Carried 54.5kg under Daniel Stackhouse, started at $8.50. Track rated good. An inside barrier means he may not have to do much work early. In top form this Friday, Declan Bates has a knack for getting the best out of their horses. Could be another winning run. Having been trained by Glen Thompson, Oak Hill comes into this race well-prepared and confident.
