Easter Monday racing comes back to some of our premiere Provincial racecourses off the back of what was quite a tough weekend in horse racing betting and I am keen to get stuck back into what looks like it has shaped up to be a very solid day of Easter Monday betting. I have gone through both the Warwick Farm racecourse and Sandown Lakeside racecourse cards and picked out my best bet and best outside chance of the day across the two cards. Best Tip: Warwick Farm - R4 - #10 - Kandinsky Abstract

A very expensive three year old by the name of Kandinsky Abstract returns to racing for Chris Waller after somewhat screwing around last prep when racing in pretty tough company but not winning much. He did however beat Celestial Legend in his debut to the races and now has had two trials for the return with the most recent of which being a beautiful and strong trial win. Jmac gets the booking and he should be able to make sure that this guy doesn’t get buried too far back in the run.

Best Roughie: Sandown - R1 - #4 - Icarus

Mostly first starters in the opening Maiden race of the day at Sandown Lakeside tomorrow and I think that the pick of them has to be Eurell’s Icarus who looks a very well bred horse by sire of Mamzelle Tess and after having placed third in two Cranbourne jumpouts. I think that she just looked to be the strongest horse in both of those jumpouts when working really solidly through the line and being strong in finishing both times. He shapes up very well for the debut off the back of those runs.
