Coming off a commanding win in its most recent race. Last time out, Surprise Coming competed over 1400m, placing 3rd at Morphettville Parks. Jumped from barrier 9, carried 60kg, and starting price of $7.50 odds. A deep barrier means he will need luck to slot into a good position. But Jake Toeroek has a knack for getting the best out of their horses. Could be another winning run. Under the watchful eye of R W Huxtable, Surprise Coming has shown a lot of promise leading up to this race.Performed well over this trip, winning 2 times from 8 starts. Performs well at this venue too - winning record makes it one to watch when racing at Murray Bridge. Yet to break through on a good track, but recent runs suggest it could be competitive.
