Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 16/03/24

Group 1 races return this weekend to the premiere tracks in NSW and VIC with a good support card at Eagle Farm racecourse as well and we have belter racing set for Rosehill racecourse and Caulfield racecourse. I have thoroughly gone through both of the cards and posted full length free horse racing tips on our site. Best Tip: Caulfield - R7 - #11 - Peace Treaty

Peace Treaty is a well placed favourite for the Freedman camp who comes here having not raced since Summer when she put two wins on the bounce in very fine fashion. She’s now been given a nice break and her recent jumpout work was extremely sharp when winning at Balnarring. I think she will be onto bigger and better things and can kick them off with a first up win here.

Best Roughie: Rosehill - R8 - #11 - Yonce

It is ridiculous that Yonce comes in at such a big price and I think I will have to have something on this horse for Ciaron Maher. She took a long time away from racing of 89 weeks before coming back in her last three runs and really got going last time out at Caulfield where she was an all the way winner at Caulfield. She has since jumped out very well, draws soft here and has won at this trip before. We don’t know her ceiling yet and I think this is an incredibly exciting race for her to step out in. Keen.

Stats and Insights

It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.

Caulfield Racecourse is a tighter track than Flemington and suits on pacers more until distances past 1600m.

Eagle Farm has little barrier bias as the track has quite even wide turns and as such it is good to look for promising backmarkers for the long straight
