Racing comes back to Bendigo racecourse and Sunshine Coast racecourse this Sunday for two bumper cards off the back of what was a bit of an all over the place day for our free horse racing tips in NSW, VIC and QLD but I am keen to close the week out in a big way and as usual have picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day across the two cards. Best Tip: Bendigo - R2 - #3 - Dynamic Deel

Very happy to be taking on a short priced favourite in this thin Maiden at Bendigo tomorrow and on exposed form Dynamic Deel is the one to beat here. He has had two four this time in and has continued to improve with each and now looks suited getting out in trip and he appears to be the map horse of the race. His last start effort at Benalla when coming on strongly to end up second in a big field was more than enough for me to jump on him to do some good work here. Go close at a nice price.

Best Roughie: Sunshine Coast - R5 - #4 - Island Magic

Island Magic is a sharp horse for Tony Gollan and looks to get the right set up in what looks like on paper to be a very fast run BM70. This sets her up perfectly given that she’s got three wins and two placings in six runs at this course and has three wins and three placings in ten runs on the soft ground that we get tomorrow. Ryan Maloney is booked in the saddle and he has three wins and four placings on her. She’s also hard fit being deep into her prep now and you just have to trust that the stable has her going very well for this.

Stats and Insights

The Bendigo Racecourse is a very spacious circuit with long straights (24m width) and well-cambered turns (6% Camber) which makes it a great course for up and in runners and also lends opportunity to backmarkers to come on strong.
The Bendigo Racecourse has chutes for the 1100m and 1600m that sees runners go around one full 180 degree turn and generally sees rails in runners go over the best at these distances.

Sunshine Coast has open angled bends which give back markers a good opportunity to come from behind and win

At Sunshine Coast racecourse Barrier draws are of least importance at the 1300 and 1400 metre.
