Trained by the Gai Waterhouse stable, I like Manuscript to bounce back after a tough run. He finished 5th of 6 last start at Rosehill on soft ground over 1200m. But he has been good before that. He has a win at Wyong and finished 2nd on debut at Scone. Let’s hope he brings his very best in this race on Thursday. Get’s the inside Barrier draw too.

For my roughie of the day, I think Special Dancer can run well in Race 6 at Seymour. She usually likes the 1400m with a 1-1-1 record in 5 starts. After a spell, she generally runs well with a 2nd place finish in her last race when she was first-up before. Nice odds for an each-way bet in what looks like an open race.
