Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Jenni The Jet at Pakenham in Race 5. The track conditions at Pakenham are looking good for racing, the track is a good 4 at this stage. Let's get into it!

I like the form of Untapped for Race 7 at Pakenham on Thursday. Won at Pakenham over 1200m on January 10. He’s back at the same track and looking to make it 2 from 2 this prep. Zac Spain is back in the saddle after their last win together and I think they can get the job done this time too.

Last start, Jenni The Jet was 5th of 9 at Cranbourne on December 28 over 1200m on a good track, 1.5 lengths behind Quebeck (59kg) with 56.5kg at $6.00. But it should improve here. Previously, 2nd of 11 at Moonee Valley Cls 1 on December 6, 2024, over 1200m. If she can get back to that form, I think she’ll be hard to beat in this race. She’s also placed 2nd at this track before and doesn’t mind the 1200m distance. Also, she usually loves running on good tracks and Pakenham should suit her nicely on Thursday.

It was the third time Baker won in this prestigious race. Annabel Neasham meanwhile celebrated as her promising colt, Bosustow, showed just how much talent he possesses by winning the $3m Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) on Friday night.
