Follow along with me for the best free horse racing tips on race day! Tuesday's racing action takes us to Wangaratta and Goulburn and I have found a best bet for you at betting sites in Australia. There's also a juicy roughie to get on board. Porter has caught my eye in Race 8 at Wangaratta. Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Rolling Magic at Goulburn in Race 8. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Porter #9 Wangaratta R8

In good form and has strong claims to win on Tuesday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a BM64 at Geelong over 1500m. Previously, 2nd of 9 at Geelong BM64 on May 24, 2024 over 1543m.

Best Roughie: Rolling Magic #2 Goulburn R8

Last run, took down Wal's Me Mate (56kg) over 1400m at Newcastle (starting price: $5.00). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Rolling Magic to get the win on Tuesday, especially from barrier 12 with Unknown in the saddle. Before that, Rolling Magic finished first at Newcastle in an Mdn on September 3, 2024, over 1250m. Should enjoy the distance (1400m). In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

  • The Wangaratta Racecourse features a track with a circumference of 1,730 metres and a home straight measuring 300 metres in length.
  • Goulburn Racecourse features a 400-metre home straight and is generally regarded as a fair track and offers good runs all turns.
  • The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
