Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 13/02/24

Racing comes back to Hawkesbury racecourse and Kyneton racecourse this Tuesday for two solid race cards and we come off the back of a good start to the week and also the first day of Group 1 races this season with two solid cards this past Saturday where our Saturday tips went quite well. I have run through both of the aforementioned racecourses and picked out a best bet of the day and best outside chance of the day. I’ve also outlined our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. Best Tip: Hawkesbury - R6 - #12 - Tender Streak

Tender Streak hasn’t put a bad effort in the four starts that he has had for Nathan Doyle and I think he rates very highly here returning to racing off of a 24 week spell and off the back of a sharp trial at Wyong last week. He ended off last campaign after three consecutive wins with a maiden win where he tore through a field to win very well. I think given the way the stable is going he has to be rated as the top chance here.

Best Roughie: Kyneton - R4 - #11 - Intoxication

I think that Intoxication is going a lot better than it reads on paper here for the Griffiths and De Kock stable and should be running well third up here. He’s had two runs back from a spell this time in for the camp and in both he has come from the rear of the field to power home well when just not getting that much luck in either run but he has run home very honestly. I think now with hard fitness and any luck at all in the run he should feature here.

Kyneton is a sharp turning track that has a clear bias to front runners, even out to staying distance due to how much ground they save.

Hawkesbury Racecourse is known to have a very real “home track advantage” and pro punters have affirmed that there are certain runners that irrespective of their form at other tracks, if they perform historically at Hawkesbury then that form is likely genuine.
