Only Racing has you covered for Tuesday horse racing action at Ballina and Scone. We have your best bet of the day as well as a cheeky roughie. I like the look of Skywolf at Ballina in Race 4. I also like the look of Eclairin Race 6 at Scone. At Scone the track is rated a heavy 8 at this stage so look for runners that like to run in wet conditions. Let's get into it!

In its last race at Ballina on November 4, it came out on top with a winning margin of 1.5 lengths. It was carrying 57kg and held off Cacofonix (60kg), which was pretty good to watch at $6.50 odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, Skywolf finished first at Warwick in a BM70 on October 12, 2024, over 1200m. When Skywolf is racing at this track, it usually shines and I think he can win again.

The heavy track should really suit Eclair and I like her odds. She has made 3 career starts on heavy tracks before and hasn’t finished outside of the top 2. With Jean Van Overmeire on board last start, won at Scone (1300m). So hopefully that form continues into Tuesday's race. On Tuesday, Mitchell Bell is in the saddle and knows how to win. Get on board. Before that, Eclair finished first at Port Macquarie in a Cls 1 on October 11, 2024, over 1200m. Likes running at Scone, among the dangers for sure - she has won or placed in all 4 career starts at this track. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1300m. All in all, I think this runner has a good chance of taking this race or at least running a place.

On the weekend, Kimochi stormed home to beat Another Wil in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes. While in the Guineas, Another Prophet took home the win, holding off the field in the straight. In The Hunter, Briasa made it 6 wins from 7 starts and Tyler Schiller continued his winning ways in the saddle, now with 4 wins in 4 starts on board.

The Spring Racing Carnival is almost over but we still have some Group one races to watch this Saturday. Over in WA, the Railway Stakes will take place at Ascot Racecourse and The Gong is the feature race at Kembla Grange in NSW.
