Best Tip: Coffs Harbour - R3 - #6 - Extreme Merger

It was only three starts back that Extreme Merger looked awfully close to winning the first time that he stepped out on a Heavy 10 track and has since gone for a spell and returned off of it when working strongly through the resuming run and only being nailed in the stewards room when finishing in a photo with the winner as the two of them put a gap on third. He looks the map horse of the race, will only be sharper for the return and I think will be awfully tough to get past.

Best Roughie: Sale - R6 - #8 - Nefertiti

Really don’t see a reason that Nefertiti can’t make it two from three to kick off the career for the Douglas camp here. He returned to racing for start number two off of a 23 week spell at Avoca with a bang when controlling the race from out front and holding on in the straight over the 1100m. Based on the run style and drawing the inside barrier I think that she’s going to find the front easily and with the claim from Bull she’s in well, fitter, looks like she’s massively over the odds.
