I like the form of Eskimo, a very consistent runner. Came 2nd last start at Murtoa with Brad Rawiller in the saddle. Previously, 2nd of 7 at Tatura BM64 on September 10, 2024, over 1450m. A lot of winning form on dry tracks, the Swan Hill track should suit it nicely. Usually runs well fresh and hasn’t raced for a few weeks, so that should give it an advantage. Good odds to have a crack at the win.

In its last race on October 5 at Armidale, he surged to the front, winning by 1.8 lengths. He carried 57.5kg and managed to beat China Grove (52kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $2.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Sensational Reward finished first at Armidale in a BM58 on September 22, 2024, over 1300m. Should enjoy the distance (1410m). Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

Via Sistina won the Cox Plate on the weekend and beat Winx's race record in the process. Despite not nominating for the Melbourne Cup, she has shot into favouritism around horse racing betting sites.
