Not a standout at this trip (1400m) but has the ability to surprise. Loves racing at the Warwick Farm track and should go close again. A value runner for the day, Father's Day has the ability to shake things up in this race. Last result was outside the top four, but there’s an opportunity for improvement with more race experience. Last outing, Father's Day took on a 1900m race at Rosehill and finished 8th. Carried 59.5kg, started at $6.00, and handled a good surface. Has the ability to overcome a tricky gate with a well-timed run. Trainer Bjorn Baker is confident that he can run well. Winless over 2200m so far, but could improve in the track conditions. Competitive at this track, placing in 2 of 5 starts, with 2 wins.
