He gets to go at the same trip on Wednesday and will look to make it 3 from 3. He’s coming off a few trials at Randwick and Rosehill, so he should be in good fitness. Should hit the lead early and I don’t think the field will catch him.

For my roughie of the day, I think Famoso can potentially run well in this race. Came home outside the top four, showing competitive spirit but lacking consistency. Limited winning form but has placed well in previous races. Has performed well under similar weight conditions before too. Last start performance, Famoso placed 7th over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside. Carried 59.5kg, guided by Damian Lane, and started at $5.50. No wins yet on a good track but has placed before. The 8 Barrier should suit this horse, it won from the 11 Barrier a few starts ago. Jockey Damian Lane will ride this runner. This jockey is known for his ability to time the run perfectly.
