Looking for some free Australian horse racing tips to enjoy this Wednesday? OnlyRacing has you covered! I like the look of Unusual Prospect at Kembla Grange in Race 4. Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Sacred Rocks in Race 3 at Sandown. At Kembla Grange, the track is rated a soft 6 at this stage so look for runners that like to run on a soft track. The track at Sandown is looking in good condition, it's rated a good 4 for race day on Wednesday. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Unusual Prospect #6 Kembla Grange R4

Unusual Prospect will make his Aussie debut on Wednesday and I think he’s one to watch out for. He looked good on debut over in New Zealand, finishing 2nd over the 2000m trip. He comes off a trial run at Randwick and he looked decent. I think he’ll enjoy the softer conditions at Kembla Grange, sort of like a NZ track that he’s used to.

Best Roughie: Sacred Rocks #5 Sandown R3

I'm a big fan of Sacred Rocks in Race 3 at Sandown on Wednesday. On January 10, won over 1400m at Pakenham, carrying 58kg. That was a solid win, so I believe that Sacred Rocks can win on Wednesday as well. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Wednesday. Has had success before in dry conditions so the track conditions should suit. Seems like it should run well and should be a solid bet for punters.

Stats and Insights

  • The Kembla Grange course is 2200m in circumference with a straight length of 420m and this suites horses that run on strongly.
  • R4 Kembla Grange - Unusual Prospect is searching for his first win and will race in Australia for the first time.
  • R3 Sandown - Sacred Rocks is looking to make it 2 from 2 in her career after winning on debut at Pakenham over 1400m.

Best Horse Racing Betting Sites

Betting Sites Bonuses and Promotions

Australian Betting Sites are gearing up for another fun week of racing around the country. Last weekend, there were some interesting results at the track. Point and Shoot won the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Bm72 for Bjorn Baker. At Sandown on Saturday afternoon, Damian Lane rode Coastwatch to victory in the Evergreen Turf John Dillon Stakes.

Horse racing promotions are a great way to add extra excitement to your betting and make even more profit if you get it right. This week, I like a new site in Australia, Sugarcastle. I think they have you covered for racing betting. One of the things that I like about them is the odds. They have pretty decent fixed racing odds and also show you fluctuations. Along with blended odds, best tote and same race multi, I think you’ll enjoy betting with them.

As far as horse racing apps go, Sugarcastle has designed a simple but user-friendly app. It’s widely available on Apple and Android devices. It doesn’t come with the most advanced features that you’ll ever see. But what it does have makes things quick and easy. You’ll never miss the jump with a speedy app that isn’t bogged down by innovation.
