Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 30/10/24

Wednesday's racing action takes us to Randwick-Kensington and Bendigo and I have found a best bet for you at betting sites in Australia. There's also a juicy roughie to get on board. Briasa has caught my eye in Race 3 at Randwick-Kensington. Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Vienna Vixen at Bendigo in Race 5. The track at Randwick-Kensington is looking in good condition, it's rated a good 4 for race day on Wednesday. The track at Bendigo is a good 4 too for the Bendigo Cup. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Briasa #3 Randwick-Kensington R3

Last start, this horse tried its best but was just not good enough in the end, finishing 4th of 15 at Randwick in a BM94 over 1200m, 0.6 lengths behind Moravia (58.5kg). But I'm backing it to get the win for punters on Wednesday. Previously, 1st of 11 at Rosehill BM78 on August 31, 2024, over 1100m. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Wednesday. Likes running in dry conditions. Undefeated third-up too and Tyler Schiller is two from two on board this gelding. I think it gets a good run from Barrier 6 and should be hard to beat.

Best Roughie: Vienna Vixen #10 Bendigo R5

The last time this horse hit the track, Vienna Vixen put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Wednesday's race. With Ethan Brown riding, you know that Vienna Vixen has got a jockey who can handle business. Previously, 3rd of 11 at Geelong BM64 on April 24, 2024 over 1212m. Likes running at Bendigo, among the dangers for sure. Also, has placed and won second-up before and generally rides well after a break. Good record at the distance too with 3 placings in 6 starts.

Stats and Insights

The 1 and 9 barriers have both won 13.2% of races since 2017 at the Randwick Kensington track.

The Bendigo Racecourse is a very spacious circuit with long straights (24m width) and well-cambered turns (6% Camber) which makes it a great course for up and in runners and also lends an opportunity to backmarkers to come on strong.

The Bendigo Racecourse has chutes for the 1100m and 1600m that sees runners go around one full 180-degree turn and generally see rails in runners go over the best at these distances.
