Moonee Valley and Newcastle exotics tips 08/03

The Autumn Group 1 races season is well underway and as we look forward to listed racing again this weekend we first come to some of our premiere racecourses in NSW and VIC with racing tomorrow at Moonee Valley racecourse and Newcastle racecourse and we have one listed race across the cards with a Group three at Newcastle tomorrow in race seven. It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Moonee Valley racecourse and Newcastle racecourse. We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

We have been going very well with this type of exotic bet with another win in Wednesday’s racing in VIC and I am keen to try to get another winner tomorrow before the weekend by doubling down on my best bet of the day here at Newcastle. More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior

A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
