Exotic Bets of the Day

Racing action in Australia continues on Friday and Only Racing Australia is here to help you find some winning bets! We've got some cheeky exotic bets for you in this one from some of the best meetings of the day.

Exacta - Cranbourne - R3

1st: 1, 8, 4, 5

2nd: 1, 8, 4, 5

Last Stylebender: Last Stylebender has potential written all over him. A solid second-place effort last start, suggesting a win is near. Last Stylebender raced recently, placing 2nd in a 1000m event at Ascot.

Under My Thumb: Under My Thumb is worth watching this Friday. Stuck on well to grab second last race, proving fitness and class. Last outing, Under My Thumb took on a 1000m race at Pakenham and finished 2nd. Winless at Cranbourne - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be her race to do it.

Echelon: Echelon could be the dark horse that completes a strong exotic play. A finish outside the top four, but not without merit - could be one to watch. Last start, Echelon finished in the placings over 1000m at Cranbourne on 11/10/2024.

Aquilion Girl: Placed in the top three in its last three starts, Aquilion Girl is proving to be a consistent contender. Aquilion Girl raced at Sale last start, covering 1110m and finishing 2nd.

Cranbourne - R5

1st: 7, 4, 1, 5

2nd: 7, 4, 1, 5

Khabalov: Khabalov is worth watching this Friday. Stayed on well for third last start, proving tough to shake off. Last time out, Khabalov competed over 1590m, placing 3rd at Wangaratta.

Show Of Gold: Last race saw a determined fourth-place effort, showing promise for next time. Show Of Gold competed at Pakenham over 1400m, finishing 4th. Despite no wins yet at Cranbourne, Show Of Gold has had some solid performances here.

Gold Moon: Gold Moon has the credentials to be a factor. Couldn’t break into the top four last start but ran better than the result suggests. Gold Moon ran at Pakenham on 30/01/2025, finishing 8th in a 2000m event.

Starwedge: Starwedge is shaping up as a strong exotic bet inclusion at Cranbourne. Starwedge is in its third start, continuing to find its stride and show potential.

Exacta - Kembla Grange - R6

1st: 5, 10, 6, 11

2nd: 5, 10, 6, 11

Time To Boogie: Time To Boogie could be the dark horse that completes a strong exotic play. A dominant display in the last race makes this runner hard to ignore. Last start performance, Time To Boogie placed 1st over 1100m at Rosehill. Carried 55kg, guided by Zac Lloyd, and started at $4.60. Knows the Kembla Grange track well and has won here before.

World Alliance: For an exotic play, World Alliance is worth a serious look this Friday. A game second-place effort last start, showcasing strong ability. This horse has decent stats on heavy ground, often putting in solid efforts when the going is tough.

Kibou: Kibou could add real value to exotic bets this Friday. Good enough on heavy ground to be a contender, though needs to bring its best form.

General Salute: Those playing exotics might get rewarded by including General Salute. A result outside the top four last race, but there’s room for progress.
