Octrain: Octrain could be the missing piece in a big payout bet. Didn’t crack the top four last start but was competitive for much of the race. Despite no wins yet at Cranbourne, Octrain has had some solid performances here.

Bold Response: Bold Response is a strong candidate for exacta bets. An exciting last-start victory suggests another big run is possible. Bold Response competed at Moonee Valley over 1200m, finishing 1st.

Extremely Rowdy: Extremely Rowdy could add real value to exotic bets this Friday. Missed out on the top four but could be set for an improved showing soon. This track is a favourite of Extremely Rowdy, and with a perfect record, it’s hard to see anything stopping her.

Social Outcast: Social Outcast is shaping up as a strong exotic bet inclusion at Muswellbrook. Social Outcast raced at Scone last start, covering 1300m and finishing 2nd. Carried 60kg with Braith Nock aboard. Track was soft.

Climate Control: An overlooked contender, Climate Control could be key to exotic success. A competitive third-place effort last start, proving reliable. Last time out, Climate Control competed over 1200m, placing 3rd at Tamworth. Jumped from barrier 2, carried 57.5kg, and starting price of $15.00 odds.

The Great Armada: The Great Armada brings great value to exotics, a must-have in combinations. Last race showed true class with a solid victory. Last start performance, The Great Armada came 1st over 1400m at Coonamble. Carried 59kg, guided by Kody Nestor, and started at $15.00. No wins at Muswellbrook yet, but this could be the day The Great Armada turns things around.

D'oro Choice: D'oro Choice has each-way claims and should be considered in exotics. Stuck on well to grab second last race, proving fitness and class. D'oro Choice ran at Dubbo on 07/03/2025, finishing 2nd in a 2200m event. Jockey Clayton Gallagher was aboard, carrying 59kg. Track was rated good. Still searching for that first win at Wellington, but it’s certainly not out of the question.

Shadow Shot: I think Shadow Shot is a great choice for a sneaky exotic play this Friday. Kept up the fight to finish third last start, showing resilience. Last outing, Shadow Shot took on a 2200m race at Dubbo and finished 3rd. Carried 55.5kg, started at $6.00, and handled a good surface. Hasn’t won at Wellington yet, but might be ready to change that.

Threw: Threw is a key player in my exotic bets. Missed the top four last start but kept on well in the closing stages. Last start, Threw finished in the placings over 2000m at Hawkesbury on 18/03/2025. Carried 53kg under Olivia Chambers, started at $51.00. Track rated good.

Yak: For an exotic play, Yak is worth a serious look this Friday. Held on for fourth last start, showing determination to the line. On 07/03/2025, Yak lined up at Dubbo, finishing 4th over 2200m. Backed at $10.00, jumped from barrier 1, and carried 55kg under Emma Ly.
