Clean Energy: Undefeated in her young career. Has won on soft ground at Doomben and heavy track at Warwick Farm. First go at the distance and track conditions, but she is talented.

Scillato: Scillato could add real value to exotic bets this Saturday. Last time out, Scillato competed over 1100m, placing 1st at Bendigo. Jumped from barrier 6, carried 57kg, and starting price of $2.05 odds. Unbeaten at this trip - knows exactly how to get the job done over 1100m. Few can match this runner’s record on good tracks.

Just Like Gaby: Those betting on exotics should not overlook Just Like Gaby. Outstanding performance in its last start. Just Like Gaby stepped out at Moonee Valley, finishing 1st over 1000m. Raced on a good surface, carrying 57kg under Thomas Stockdale. Still looking for its first win at the Flemington track.

Matisse: Matisse is in the mix for exotics. A tough fourth-place run last start, sticking on well under pressure. Matisse competed at Caulfield over 1600m, finishing 4th. Jumped from barrier 13, carried 56kg, and was ridden by Mark Zahra. 1100m distance suits - right in the mix. Handles the distance well, boasting 1 win from 2 runs. Hasn’t won at Flemington yet, but might be ready to change that.

Arqana: If you’re looking for a bit of a roughie in your exotic plays, Arqana is worth considering. A finish outside the top four last time, but signs of improvement were there. Arqana lined up at Flemington, finishing 6th over 1400m. Backed at $21.00, jumped from barrier 12, and carried 59kg under Shane Foley. Proven over the distance, recording a good record from 4 starts. Has had success here (Flemington) before and could do it again.

Euphoric: Euphoric is expected to be competitive, should be a good bet. Last race didn’t result in a top-four finish, but signs of progress were evident. Euphoric raced at Flemington, covering 1400m and finishing 5th. Carried 58kg with Craig Williams aboard. Track was soft.

Verdad: Including Verdad in exotics could lead to a big payout at Flemington. Finished outside the top four but had moments that hinted at better performances ahead. Last start performance, Verdad placed 7th over 1600m at Flemington. Carried 59kg, guided by Ethan Brown, and started at $5.50.

Aramco: Aramco is a sleeper pick for exotic combinations at Flemington. Last race saw a determined third-place effort, staying in contention for the majority of the race. Last outing, Aramco took on a 1600m race at Flemington and finished 3rd. Carried 59.5kg, started at $17.00, and handled a soft surface. Performed well here, winning 2 times from 5 starts.

Millane: Millane is in my exotic bets for Saturday, a good value bet I think. A narrow second-place finish last time, ready to step up again. Has raced 11 times at this track, winning 27.3% of the time.

Termagant: I think Termagant will be an important inclusion for this Saturday exacta. Claimed a stylish victory last time and could do it again. Termagant ran at Doomben on 08/02/2025, finishing 1st in a 1110m event. Jockey Ms N Beriman was aboard, carrying 58kg. Track was rated good. Yet to crack it at this track (Eagle Farm) - will this race be the one?

Warby: Warby has potential written all over him. Last race saw a respectable fourth-place effort, staying competitive. Warby lined up at Eagle Farm, finishing 4th over 1400m. Backed at $4.60, jumped from barrier 5, and carried 58kg under Jag Guthmann-Chester. At this track, holds a record of 2-1-1, with 2 wins.

Highbar: For a solid exotic bet, don’t leave out Highbar. Ran on well for fourth in the latest outing, finishing strongly. Last start, Highbar finished in the placings over 1110m at Doomben on 08/02/2025. Carried 60kg under M R Du Plessis, started at $8.50. Track rated good. Goes okay over this trip. Solid record over this distance, winning 1 time from 2 runs. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
