On Saturday, I have looked through the field at Randwick, Kembla Grange and Ascot and found some races that I think should be suitable for an exacta bet. Get the best bets at Only Racing!

2nd: 5, 6, 7, 12

Mazu: I think Mazu is primed to figure in a big exotic payout. Didn’t place in the top four, but certain aspects of the run suggested improvement is coming. Last outing, Mazu took on a 1200m race at Rosehill and finished 5th. At this venue, has a career record of 4-2-3, including 4 victories.

Zarastro: Zarastro punters looking at exotic bets should have this one. An exciting last-start victory suggests another big run is possible. Zarastro competed at Gold Coast over 1200m, finishing 1st. Winless at Randwick - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be his race to do it.

Ostraka: For a solid exotic bet, don’t leave out Ostraka. Closed off nicely for third in the latest outing, showing solid finishing speed. Ostraka raced at Rosehill last start, covering 1200m and finishing 3rd. Handles this track well, boasting 2 wins from 3 runs.

Dragonstone: An overlooked contender, Dragonstone could be key to exotic success. Fought bravely for second in the previous race, full of merit. Dragonstone raced recently, placing 2nd in a 1200m event at Rosehill. Competitive at this track, placing in 8 of 15 starts, with 2 wins.

Quartz Legend: Quartz Legend could add real value to exotic bets this Saturday. The horse is in its third start, improving and ready to take on more competitive challenges. Last start performance, Quartz Legend came 2nd over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Handles this distance of 1000m well, no surprise to see it fighting out the finish.

She Conquers: Exactas should feature She Conquers this Saturday. Came in beyond the top four last start, but still showing signs of promise. Last time out, She Conquers competed over 1100m, placing 6th at Hawkesbury. With stats to back it up, it looks a serious threat at Kembla Grange. Solid strike rate at this trip (1000m), should be competitive. Winless at Kembla Grange - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be her race to do it.

Tessy Tee: If you’re looking for a bit of a roughie in your exotic plays, Tessy Tee is worth considering. Missed the top four last start but kept on well in the closing stages. Last start, Tessy Tee finished in the placings over 1300m at Kembla Grange on 28/12/2024. Yet to crack it at this track (Kembla Grange) - will this race be the one?

Donwon: Donwon could be the dark horse that completes a strong exotic play. He secured fourth last start, just outside the top three but still strong. On 12/12/2024, Donwon lined up at Kembla Grange, finishing 4th over 1200m. Hasn’t won at Kembla Grange yet, but might be ready to change that.
