Exotic Bets of the Day

The racing continues at Pakenham on Thursday and this article will give you horse racing tips for 3 of the best races that I think you should watch out for.

Exacta - Pakenham - R3

1st: 4, 5, 6, 1

2nd: 4, 5, 6, 1

Hot Digity Boom: Hot Digity Boom is a key player in my exotic bets With a few starts under its belt, Hot Digity Boom is eager to continue its development in race three.

King Zephyr: King Zephyr is a useful runner for exotic bets. In its third-ever start, King Zephyr is gaining more experience and improving with each race. Usually solid in these good track conditions.

Captain Link: Captain Link is a strong candidate for exacta bets. Finished a close second last race, right on the winner’s heels.

Athanatos: Athanatos has potential written all over him. Coming off a last-start win.

Exacta - Pakenham - R5

1st: 2, 8, 1, 3

2nd: 2, 8, 1, 3

Gemini Dancer: Dominant victory last start. At this track, he has placed twice before and usually likes these track conditions.

Mogadishu: Mogadishu punters looking at exotic bets should have this one. A respectable third last race, showing potential for improvement. Solid strike rate at this trip (2500m), should be competitive.

Eagle Warrior: Those betting on exotics should not overlook Eagle Warrior. Finished beyond the top four last start, but could be poised for a better effort.

Whiskey Tango: Whiskey Tango and jockey Will Gordon are a good combo, they’ve won 2 of 3 starts together. They come off a win last start too.

Exacta - Pakenham - R7

1st: 1, 2, 10, 7

2nd: 1, 2, 10, 7

Matawai: Matawai is a strong candidate for exacta bets. Goes okay over this trip, and has won before at 1400m. Also likes running first-up and Blake Shinn is back in the saddle. They’ve won together before too.

Paradise City: Paradise City is a key player in my exotic bets Came in beyond the top four last start, but still showing signs of promise.

Privalova: Privalova is in my exotic bets for Thursday, a good value bet I think. A solid fourth-place finish in the previous race, keeping up with the pack. Not its best or worst surface, but capable on the day.

Royal Invader: Royal Invader is expected to be competitive, should be a good bet. Finished beyond the top four last start, but could be poised for a better effort. Flawless at this distance of 1400m - expect another bold showing.
