Best Exotic Bets of the Day | 20/03/25

The races continue on Thursday and Onlyracing is here to give you some free Australian horse racing tips to enjoy. In this one, I'm discussing 3 races and 4 runners per race that I think will finish in the top two.

Tuscaloosa Gem: I think Tuscaloosa Gem will be an important inclusion for this Thursday exacta. Debuting on Thursday, Tuscaloosa Gem has been showing plenty of promise in training, expect a bold performance.

Bazaball Rewarded: Including Bazaball Rewarded in exotics could lead to a big payout at Pakenham. Last start second place, proving competitive form.

Bohemian Angel: Bohemian Angel is expected to be competitive, should be a good bet. Bohemian Angel had a promising start in her first race, now looking to build on that performance in the second. Last start, Bohemian Angel finished in the placings over 1000m at Bendigo on 02/03/2025.

Drone Attack: Drone Attack is a sleeper pick for exotic combinations at Pakenham. In its third-ever race, Drone Attack is starting to show signs of adapting to the competition.

Webejamin: A solid second-place effort last start, suggesting a win is near. No wins at Newcastle yet, but this could be the day Webejamin turns things around.

Koning: If you’re playing wide exotics, Koning deserves a spot. A finish beyond the top four, yet still showing promise for upcoming runs.

Bluebird Bay: Bluebird Bay looks promising in this race on Thursday. Finished a close fourth in the previous outing, not far off the placings. With a proven record under these good track conditions, it’s well-placed to fire again.

Dim The Lights: Dim The Lights is in my exotic bets for Thursday, a good value bet I think. As a third-time starter, Dim The Lights is building on its earlier performances and gaining confidence.

Sea Strike: If you’re looking for value, include Sea Strike. Loves these conditions and has delivered before, a repeat performance is possible.

Pennine Way: For those placing exotic bets, Pennine Way is a logical inclusion. Came home outside the top four, showing competitive spirit but lacking consistency.

Engeline: Engeline adds a nice level of risk and reward to exotic tickets. A solid third-place effort last race, handling conditions well. Engeline stepped out at Echuca on 09/03/2025, finishing 3rd over 1600m. Raced on a good surface, carrying 59kg under Rhys McLeod. Goes okay over this trip.

Taumata: If you’re looking for a bit of a roughie in your exotic plays, Taumata is worth considering. Ran a strong third in the previous outing, keeping pressure on the leaders. Taumata ran at Wagga on 01/03/2025, finishing 3rd in a 1800m event. Jockey Michael A Cahill was aboard, carrying 55kg. Track was rated good. Hasn’t won at Albury yet, but might be ready to change that.
