It has been a while since Cheers has been seen at this level, since a lengthy injury layoff and this should be a good return to action. In an open race beyond the favourite, it is certainly the strong value each way punt.

Big hitters align in race 3, with Takashima taking up the spot of favourite, having romped home over course and distance last time out. This will be a step up in class but it is a horse in the winning groove.

The Paddy Payne trained Rosalia has been firmly in the mix in its last couple of races too, finishing second behind Takashima last time out and there were signs it could perhaps challenge in the future..

VALUE BET - Orlabent - $3.80
With not much form to speak of, Orlabent doesn't look to be the obvious choice here but it is a horse cut from serious stock and if it finds some form, it could be tough to stop over 1000m.
