Despite not offering too much on debut, there is plenty of interest for Klimenko here, a horse that comes from good stock and an in-form stable. Improvement needed quickly here though, especially in this company.

VALUE BET - Arianna's Gold - $6.00
Debutants are always the wild card in this type of contest and Arianna's Gold has the capacity to be an absolute flyer. It could struggle too but Arianna's Gold looks to be worth an outside shot at least.

Ascertaining where Geegees Misty is at this point is tricky but it remains a seriously strong option in this company and it fared well when last running here at Launceston. There is a feeling it needs to win more races to take the next step and that should start here.

THE DANGER - Flying Billie - $3.80
Similarly, Flying Billie will be looking to add more wins to its record and it should be bang in contention in this one. It placed well last time out and should be chomping at the bit here.

VALUE BET - Mcsweyn - $5.00
The calibre from which Mcsweyn comes from suggests that this horse should be bang in contention here but it has no form to speak of. That said, this is a good horse and if its gets a run, it could be dangerous.
