Barnage looks like a good prospect and he’ll kick off this multi at Yarra Valley. In his 5 career starts so far, he’s only fallen out of the top 3 once, so I like his place record. He’s come 2nd at this distance twice and also placed second when he was last second-up. Should run well in this race.

Zadar Sunset had a run at this track last month and I think he is well positioned to run well on Thursday. He should enjoy the inside barrier and Daniel Moor is back in the saddle after they finished 2nd at Geelong in December last year. He’s also won a few times over the 1200m trip.

I like Torn in Race 6 at Muswellbrook. He is coming off a nice win at Mudgee over 1200m, beating the field by 3 lengths in a maiden. This inside barrier draw should be handy and Mitchell Bell gets the ride again after their win in December. Could win this and I think he’s a good value bet to increase our multi.
