Last race, placed 3rd of 7 at Warwick Farm in a BM72 over 1300m, just 3.7 lengths behind Deprivation (58.5kg) carrying 58.5kg at $8.00. After that, he was spelled for a few months. He has a good record of finishing top 3 when he has been first-up before. He’s also finished 3rd in 3 of 4 starts at the track. So this could be the race where he finally gets the win, which would be nice for punters.

Ciaron Maher has Placentia Bay in Race 8 at Valley on Friday night and he’s due for a win. He’s coming off a 2nd at this track, losing by a nose. That race was over the same distance so he should enjoy the trip on Friday too. He gets a nice Barrier on the inside and that should help him. On good tracks, he’s placed in 4 of 5 career starts so he should be in the mix.

Finished second last start with Molly Bourke on board at Randwick. Previously, 1st of 8 at Gatton BM65 on June 29, 2024 over 1100m. Previously, this runner has loved running at this track and I think the conditions should suit it again. At the distance of 1110m, Flag Hall has been impressive as well. He has 2 wins and hasn’t fallen out of the top 3 over the trip. In great form having placed in 4 straight races so he should be a safe bet to get up there again.

We hit a massive multi on the weekend, picking Snitzanova at Caulfield R6, Belvedere Boys in Race 6 at Rosehill and Miss Skyhigh (Ascot R9).
