Echuca and Tamworth multi tips 08/04

The Autumn Group 1 races season is almost at it’s peak here with massive racing in NSW at Randwick racecourse as the $5 million Doncaster Mile was run over the past weekend at the course and we now come back to Echuca racecourse and Tamworth racecourse. On our Onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Monday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day!

Tamworth - R1

#1 - Vincenzo - WIN @ $2.40

Vincenzo seems to have come back in top order for Stephanie Singleton and can continue to improve here off the back of a strong win last time out. He’s had two runs back from a 20 week spell this campaign and afer debuting over the 1600m at Wyong where he ran well into the placings behind some decent horses he last stepped out at The Hawkesbury when being held up until a split came at the 250m and he powered away with it once it presented itself to win well. He should only be fitter and sharper off the back of that run and shapes up well here again.

Echuca - R3

#11 - Queen Caves - PLC @ $2.10

Queen Caves looks like a very well placed debutant for John Thompson who comes here to make her debut racing off the back of six very sharp jumpouts where she has won half of them and been placed in the other half since stepping out for the first couple a few months ago. She gets the nod for me over the favourite as the favourite draws wide and whilst he has showed talent and has the runs advantage over them I think that Queen Caves gets the better set up and is good odds.

Tamworth - R3

#2 - Great Siege - PLC @ $1.30

Great Siege makes his first career start for Holly Williams from Anthony Cummings and comes off of a massive break from racing of 82 weeks since his last start. He now presents as a Gelding for the first time and has trialled twice recently for the return to racing. I think he’s been placed with a fair bit of intent in this 1000m race first up and after winning an Armidale trial the other week over this trip and now with Bullock in the saddle he should be very competitive here.

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
