Lake Forest should give multi betting plenty of confidence heading into the race. A winner last time out, bringing great form into this race. Last outing, Lake Forest took on a 1200m race at Seymour and finished 1st. Carried 58.5kg, started at $2.80, and handled a good surface. A tricky gate, but not a deal-breaker for a horse with this ability. I’m confident that Jye Mcneil will ride a calculated race this Thursday. Their history of strong performances makes them a reliable choice. Wins aren't a given, but it has the ability.

Lady Potato Head is a banker for those constructing a multi bet on Thursday. Finished runner-up but wasn’t far off the winner last race. Last start performance, Lady Potato Head placed 2nd over 1400m at Pakenham. Carried 57kg, guided by Thomas Stockdale, and started at $3.00. An inside gate could see it settle in a handy position. With Thomas Stockdale on board, expect a tactically astute ride this Thursday. This jockey always brings out the best in their horse. Still looking for its first win at the Pakenham track, but has placed here before. Loves the trip, and has placed in all 5 career starts over 1400m.
