Verdad looks well-positioned to keep multi-bets alive for punters. Finished a solid third last start, showing consistency. He has placed in 5 straight race since Sep last year. At this stage, Ethan Brown is listed to ride his on Saturday. They should settle nicely into this race. Yet to crack it at this track (Flemington) - will this race be the one?

For a safe yet rewarding multi-bet selection, Catwalk Criminal fits the bill. Missed out on the top four last start but could be set for an improved showing soon. She loves running fresh with a 2-1-0 record when she has been first-up before. A perfect barrier for this horse’s running style too. On board Catwalk Criminal will be Emily Lang, one of my favourite jockeys to bet on. Winless at Eagle Farm - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be her race to do it.

With the form on its side, Runaway Statement is one to watch. Led from the front and won convincingly in the last start. Runaway Statement stepped out at Morphettville, finishing 1st over 1500m. Raced on a good surface, carrying 58kg under Lachlan Neindorf. Jockey Kayla Crowther will be in the saddle this Saturday. Has a great winning strike rate. Never beaten over this trip 1400m - hard to look past it. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Morphettville on Saturday.

The multi bets continue this week at Only Racing and it’s a great time to get racing promos for the upcoming Autumn races. There is also a number of Group 1 races coming up this month. That includes the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes, Blue Diamond Stakes, Oakleigh Plate and Futurity Stakes.

One of my favourite sites to bet on the races this week will be Buffalobet. As one of the new horse racing betting sites, it obviously doesn’t have the most advanced features just yet.
