Baronessa showed form on December 8 at Doomben, placing 2nd out of 11 in a BM70 on a good track, just 1.5 lengths behind Bezique (57.5kg) with 59kg at $151.00. After that race, I think Baronessa can potentially improve and possibly get the win this time. Loves this track as it has yet to finish outside the top 3. Very good stats when it's racing at this 1125m distance.

Highland Harley showed some form at Cranbourne last time. In its last start, Highland Harley placed 3rd out of 9 in a BM64 on October 2 over 1400m, on a good track, just 0.2 lengths behind Gangitano (61kg) with 58kg at $8.00. Previously, 1st of 12 at Bairnsdale BM58 on September 9, 2024, over 1200m. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1209m. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
