Back from a spell and I love her first-up record. She has placed in both runs after a freshen up, so she obviously likes running fresh. This race looks like an open field and I like her Barrier draw (3). She likes to hit the lead early and the barrier should help. She’s undefeated at the distance and has placed 2nd on a soft track before. Her last race was a win at Mildura so hopefully she can get the job done again.

All The Way Baby should offer a safe bet for this multi. She is racing well at the moment and this race should be no different. Last start, she won at Warrnambool over 1400m on a soft track. Before that, she placed 2nd at the same track over 1100m. I think she’ll enjoy being back at the 1400m distance after winning over the trip a fortnight ago. Jockey Dean Yendall is enjoying riding this horse with a 1-3-0 record in 5 career starts.

Xcessive Force won her first race last start and I think offers good value to run a place or win for the second time in her career. She beat a 9 horse field in a maiden over 1200m by 2.8 lengths, carrying 56kg from Barrier 3. She’ll have to get around the tougher barrier draw this time but I think she can do it. Having won at the same track and distance on debut, I think that helps her chances too.
