As a filly who prefers to take things slow, Nepravda proved promising by winning her latest race. She ran from the back with 54.5kg to beat her rivals in stunning fashion at her recent Mornington race over 1200m. In her single 1200m attempt, she won so that bodes well for this race over the same trip.

Her two race starts on quality tracks demonstrate she can replicate her success under these track conditions. Jockey Dakotah Keane keeps riding Nepravda since winning earlier and though she lines up in barrier 7, she remains a top choice to improve on her racing debut.

Pink Shalala has achieved top-three performance in four races out of his five total races to date. Even though he hasn't won yet he shows better results when competing on soft tracks with two placements from three attempts. He ran impressively to second place at Randwick-Kenswick over 1400m on a soft track with a 59kg weight.

He earned third place at Kembla Grange before this race when he competed at this distance on a dry course. He enters this race at 1550m for the first time yet his recent form shows he will benefit from longer distances. Under Kerrin McEvoy's riding and with consistent placement results Pink Shalala stands ready to show his competitive edge.

Codetta proves herself a top racehorse with three wins in her last six outings. She excels with wins from all three attempts on soft tracks. She won her only race at Canterbury despite running only once at this track during her Canterbury career. In her previous race at Warwick Farm she came second over 1200m on a heavy track with Zac Wadick in the saddle and 54.5kg in weight.

Before that she ended up fourth for a 1300-metre outing at Randwick on an ideal racing surface. During her third previous race, Codetta beat the field at Canterbury across 1250m when the track was soft. Codetta can shine once more since Zac Wadick returns as her rider and she has an ideal barrier position plus she performs well on wet surfaces.
