Similarly, Barra Mundy has also been picking up some decent results of late and pretty much all of which have come at Ascot. It will have to run well over 1800m to win this one but Barra Mundy is a very capable contender.

VALUE BET - Belle Journee - $12.00
In a field of perennial underachievers, Belle Journee is another that fits the bill. This horse came mightily close last time out, here at Ascot too and looks overpriced to be in the mix for the win.

A horse desperately out of form in this one is Princess In Red but on reputation, it should be more than able to compete in this field. It neds a confidence boosting run in this one and should get a decent spin in the legs.

Similarly, Our Rocky Bay has been out of nick in recent weeks, following a very good start to the campaign and connections will be desperate to see it find its stride once more and it has the pace to compete in this one.
