The deadly duo of Chris Waller and James McDonald team up once again here and Molly Bloom looks a good price to land for them. It knows its way around Flemington and returns after a few months off so should be fresh.

The Hayes yard have been tentatively preparing Rise At Dawn for a few months and this could be a triumphant return to action. Whether it is ready to compete at his level after 6 months off remains to be seen but it is chasing a 4th win on the spin.

Outside of the top two, there are plenty of candidates in the mix and Just Folk could well be the pick of them. Another horse that knows its way around Flemington, Just Folk will want this one to be pacy.

Winning form coming into this one is present across the card but Macedon Rose only knows winning - after triumphing in both of its first two races. It is the outsider but form suggests it could cause a bit of a stir here.
