While Daggers doesn't have the body of work to trouble Alabama Lass on paper, it is an exciting prospect and is perhaps the best of the bunch in this one. Conditions will suit too and it has speed to burn over 1100m.

Another interesting challenger in this field is Vestas, a horse that has shown plenty of promise in all of its outings so far but this is a big step up and it should be seen as a learning curve.

Another multiple Group 1 winner in the field is Zardozi and this looks the ideal type of contest on paper. It came a close second at Caulfield last time out and it should be fighting fit for this one.

VALUE BET - Atishu - $5.00
Atishu is yet another pick that has frequently done the business at this level and how connections would love to see it land another big one here. An excellent horse, who could be overlooked in the market.
