For my Wednesday racing tips at Hawkesbury, I've got a best bet of the day that can't miss, as well as some roughies to watch out for.

BEST BET - #6 - Bear On The Loose - (BEST BET)
Bear On The Loose is my Wednesday best bet, carrying the highest expectations of the card. Loves the trip and has won before first-up, which was at Rosehill in a good field. Trained by the Waterhouse and Bott stable, expect another quality run from this gelding.

THE DANGER - #8 - State Of America
I think State Of America is a strong threat to the leading contenders in this event. A game third-place finish last race, battling to the line. Last outing, State Of America took on a 1800m race at Randwick-Kensington and finished 3rd. Expect Zac Lloyd to be in control this Wednesday. Their experience and race craft make them a strong contender for the win. State Of America has shown it can get the job done at Hawkesbury, so don’t count it out.

VALUE BET - #5 - Flying Trapeze
Flying Trapeze is a well-priced contender that could return nice value. Finished outside the top four last start, showing potential for improvement. On Wednesday, Tyler Schiller will be guiding Flying Trapeze. Known for their precision, this combination should perform well.

BEST BET - #3 - Starmae - (NEXT BEST)
Starmae is the prime choice for Wednesday’s racing action. Fought hard to secure a win in the last start. Starmae raced recently, placing 1st in a 1100m event at Wyong. With Rachel King on board, expect a tactically astute ride this Wednesday. This jockey always brings out the best in their horse.

THE DANGER - #1 - Lonhro's Queen
Lonhro's Queen is an under-the-radar runner with the ability to upset the favourite. Took the last race by storm with a commanding win. Last start performance, Lonhro's Queen came 1st over 1000m at Scone.

VALUE BET - #9 - First Person
Attractive odds make First Person an interesting value selection. Scored a strong victory last race. First Person ran at Wyong on 12/03/2025, finishing 1st in a 1000m event. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Hawkesbury on Wednesday.

BEST BET - #18 - Twisted Love 
With form and conditions in its favour, Twisted Love is my standout Wednesday pick. Twisted Love made a good first impression and will now attempt to go one better in race two. Twisted Love competed at Waverley over 1650m, finishing 1st. Jumped from barrier 1, carried 55.5kg, and was ridden by Craig Grylls. Looks to extend its perfect streak once again. On Wednesday, Ashley Morgan will get to ride this one. A strong run between these two will be key. Expect another strong showing on a good track at Hawkesbury.

THE DANGER - #11 - Enter The Dragon 
Enter The Dragon is likely to give the favourite something to think about. Coming off an eye-catching win in its most recent run. Enter The Dragon raced at Kembla Grange last start, covering 1400m and finishing 1st. Carried 59kg with Joshua Parr aboard. Track was soft. Joshua Parr is in the saddle and in decent racing form. This should be a dangerous combo. Previous wins on this surface suggest another strong run is likely.

VALUE BET - #5 - Rush Attack
A great each-way option with the potential to surprise. Last race didn’t result in a top-four finish, but signs of progress were evident. A horse that pops up now and then - maybe Wednesday? Last start, Rush Attack finished in the placings over 1500m at Rosehill on 22/03/2025. Carried 55.5kg under Anna Roper, started at $5.00. Track rated good. Braith Nock brings solid experience to the saddle this Wednesday, and their timing in races has earned them plenty of respect.
