On January 17 at Canterbury in a BM64 over 1900m, Investment started slow and finished 5th out of 11, while carrying 59kg at $5.50 odds. However, I think this race is more suitable and it should be able to put in a better showing. Not a lot of queries with this one, it should be able to beat this field.

THE DANGER - #9 - Nyota
I think he takes a while to warm up from a spell so this could be the race. He’s fourth-up on Wednesday and has won and finished 2nd when he has run fourth-up before.

VALUE BET - #10 - Daddy's Girl
Gets the inside barrier and could be dangerous. She has won before on a soft track, which was also her last run. That win was over 2000m and she may just enjoy the extra 400m on offer this Wednesday.

Should get a good run from this barrier, watch it in the straight. Usually loves racing at this track and has won at this distance before.

THE DANGER - #3 - All Machiavellian
Came 2nd last start at Moruya with Tommy Berry in the saddle. Should be right there in the finish.

VALUE BET - #8 - Shot Out
Last start, beat Calmer Karma (59.5kg) at Nowra over 1200m at the starting price of $6.50. That was a good win and I like Shot Out on Wednesday too, especially with Molly Bourke on board from barrier 2.

Comes off a nice win on debut at Warwick Farm, let’s see if he can do it again. The track conditions should suit as he’ll get similar soft track as before.

THE DANGER - #6 - Heesen
Last start, beat Acknowledged (55.5kg) at Kembla Grange over 1300m at the starting price of $4.80. That was a good win and I like Heesen on Wednesday too, especially with Jean Van Overmeire on board from barrier 12.

VALUE BET - #7 - I Am Wild
Just finished behind the places in its last start, finishing 4th out of 9 on December 28. So I think it can improve after that run and should be fitter here. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
