BEST BET - #7 - Flying Mean - (BEST BET)
Won well last start and remains a top contender. Flying Mean ran at Pakenham on 13/03/2025, finishing 1st in a 1200m event. Jockey Ben Melham was aboard, carrying 59.5kg. Track was rated good. On board Flying Mean will be Ben Melham, one of my favourite jockeys to bet on.

THE DANGER - #2 - Primal Spirit
Primal Spirit has demonstrated remarkable consistency, placing in three straight races. Last start, Primal Spirit finished in the placings over 1400m at Pakenham on 27/03/2025. Carried 60kg under Hannah Edgley, started at $6.50. Track rated good. Needs things to go right but has a win on record.

VALUE BET - #9 - Lowlands
Last result was outside the top four, but there’s an opportunity for improvement with more race experience. Last outing, Lowlands took on a 1300m race at Sandown-Hillside and finished 8th. Carried 56kg, started at $10.00, and handled a good surface. I’m confident that Ethan Brown will ride a calculated race this Wednesday. Their history of strong performances makes them a reliable choice. Still looking for its first win at the Sandown track.

BEST BET - #13 - Heavenly Shades - (NEXT BEST)
Heavenly Shades punters should be confident in its ability and form, making it my best bet for Wednesday. Finished fourth with a solid showing, looking to improve next run. On 19/03/2025, Heavenly Shades lined up at Sandown-Hillside, finishing 4th over 1400m. Backed at $3.60, jumped from barrier 10, and carried 54kg under Jamie Melham. In the saddle will be Blake Shinn on Wednesday. They are a skilled jockey that I have full confidence in.

THE DANGER - #8 - Kiwiesque
I would say that Kiwiesque is a genuine danger in this race, with strong recent form. After gaining experience from the debut, Kiwiesque should be sharper for this second race. Kiwiesque stepped out at Kilmore on 24/11/2024, finishing 1st over 1450m. Raced on a heavy surface, carrying 56kg under Blake Shinn. Jockey Ethan Brown gets the ride on Wednesday. They're a talented jockey with a good race sense.

VALUE BET - #3 - Harrumph Harrumph
Harrumph Harrumph is my Wednesday value pick, worth a closer look in the betting. After an eye-catching debut, Harrumph Harrumph has the chance to step up in its second race. Harrumph Harrumph raced at Geelong last start, covering 1400m and finishing 1st.

BEST BET - #9 - She's A Hustler
Wednesday’s standout selection, She's A Hustler is expected to run a winning race. Was too good in its previous race, claiming a solid win. There’s no doubt that Jordan Childs is the right person for the job this Wednesday. With a solid record, they’ll play a major role. Proven performer on good tracks and should give another strong showing. Has experience on good tracks, with 2 wins and a 100% place rate.

THE DANGER - #12 - Sun Gift
Punters should keep an eye on Sun Gift, as it’s a strong danger. Last race saw a respectable fourth-place effort, staying competitive. Last time out, Sun Gift competed over 1800m, placing 4th at Sandown-Hillside. Jumped from barrier 4, carried 57kg, and starting price of $16.00 odds. Damian Lane will guide Sun Gift and given their record, they’ll give the horse every chance to shine.

VALUE BET - #10 - Pennine Way
I think that Pennine Way represents solid value in Wednesday’s betting markets. Last start second place, proving competitive form. Pennine Way stepped out at Albury on 20/03/2025, finishing 2nd over 2000m. Raced on a soft surface, carrying 59kg under Harry Coffey. Jockey Harry Coffey is looking sharp ahead of Wednesday. With their keen eye and strong race judgment, they’ll be a key factor.
