I think Sigiriya Rock should be a confident pick for midweek racing, tipped as my best bet. A finish beyond the top four last run, yet still showing promise for upcoming runs. With Tommy Berry on board, expect a tactically astute ride this Wednesday. This jockey always brings out the best in their horse. Goes okay over this trip.

THE DANGER - #2 - Arqana
In this race, I would say that Arqana is a genuine danger in this race, with strong recent form. A result outside the top four last race, but there’s room for progress. Arqana ran at Flemington on 01/03/2025, finishing 7th in a 1600m event. Looking forward to their performance.

VALUE BET - #14 - Star Legacy
Star Legacy has generous odds on offer, this could be the best value selection. He has placed in three consecutive races and will look to continue the momentum. Last start performance, Star Legacy came 3rd over 1800m at Hawkesbury. Jockey Braith Nock is looking sharp ahead of Wednesday. With their keen eye and strong race judgment, they’ll be a key factor.

Zealously is my best chance of the day on Wednesday, all set to fire. A gritty fourth last start at Warwick Farm, staying in touch with the front-runners. Last time out, Zealously competed over 1100m, placing 4th at Sunshine Coast. Every time it’s lined up at this trip of 1000m, it’s delivered - big danger again. Solid record over this distance, winning 2 times from 2 runs. Despite no wins yet at Warwick Farm, Zealously has had some solid performances here.

THE DANGER - #2 - Confess Our Dreams
Confess Our Dreams could pose a real challenge to the more fancied runners. Finished beyond the top four but wasn’t beaten far, indicating some potential. On 08/03/2025, Confess Our Dreams lined up at Randwick, finishing 9th over 1200m. Flawless here at Warwick Farm - this is its happy place, it seems.

VALUE BET - #12 - Admitted
Get Admitted at a good price, the odds may change. Solid effort to claim second last race, just missing the win. Last start, Admitted finished in the placings over 1000m at Warwick Farm on 05/03/2025. Handles this distance of 1000m well, no surprise to see it fighting out the finish. Has experience at this distance, with 2 wins in 4 starts. Track record isn’t inspiring, but anything can happen at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. Has won half its races - dangerous if things go right.

With form and conditions in its favour, Heat Missile is my standout Wednesday pick. Strong finishing effort led to a win last time out. Heat Missile raced at Kembla Grange last start, covering 1200m and finishing 1st.

THE DANGER - #10 - Good Sort
Good Sort is likely to give the favourite something to think about. Finished outside the top four in her last race but had moments that hinted at better performances ahead. Winless at Warwick Farm - needs to lift to turn that around, this could be her race to do it.

VALUE BET - #5 - Makena
I think that Makena represents solid value in Wednesday’s betting markets. Finished third in the previous run, maintaining strong momentum. On 05/03/2025, Makena lined up at Warwick Farm, finishing 3rd over 1400m. No wins at Warwick Farm yet, but this could be the day Makena turns things around.
