BEST BET - #12 - Fire Star - (BEST BET)
In its last race at Warwick Farm on October 7, it came out on top with a winning margin of 2.8 lengths. It was carrying 56.5kg and held off Bonita Queen (61kg), which was pretty good to watch at $5.50 odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

THE DANGER - #10 - Ravenclaw
In its last race on October 2 at Rosehill, he surged to the front, winning by 3.0 lengths. He carried 57.5kg and managed to beat Need Some Luck (60.5kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $8.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now.

VALUE BET - #8 - Midnight Opal
Back from a spell and has won before when it was first-up. Comes off a trial win as well and could run a place in this field.

BEST BET - #1 - Tavi Time - (NEXT BEST)
Previously, it finished 6th of 17 at Rosehill in a BM88 on September 28, 2024, over 1400m, 4.7 lengths behind Willaidow (56.5kg). But Tavi Time has an excellent second-up record and James McDonald is on board.

THE DANGER - #8 - Jamberoo
Jamberoo showed promise at Bathurst on September 15, finishing 2nd out of 9 in an Open on a soft track, just 2.5 lengths behind Money From The Sky (57.5kg) with 59kg at $7.00. With that run under its belt, Jamberoo is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race.

VALUE BET - #9 - Mirzann
In its last run, this horse finished 6th of 10 at Flemington in an Open on June 22, 2024, over 2540m, 7.2 lengths behind Born A King (59kg). But could run better here as it usually likes soft tracks.

BEST BET - #9 - Wembanyama
Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 8 in the BM72 at Rosehill on October 2. That race was over 1400m on a soft track and it came in 2.2 lengths behind Getafix (55kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.

The last run for this horse was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win. With Zac Wadick on board, this horse should get another favourable run and could get the win again. Has looked good this prep and has enjoyed winning form fourth-up before.

VALUE BET - #3 - Bullets High
Back from a rest and won before when it was previously first-up. Also loves running on this track, it has 2 wins and a minor placing in 3 career starts.

Wednesday racing comes to you from Caufield and Warwick Farm this week. It figures to be a busy week ahead for Caufield Racecourse as the Caulfield Cup is on this weekend. So this mid-week meeting should feature some quality races for punters to enjoy.
